ABSTRACT
The article reports that the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee (SAC) has recommended offering 127.6 million dollars less than requested by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for funding of border security technology in Arizona. SAC recommended providing funding for 400 million dollars due to large unobligated balances the DHS already has for these purposes.
