Maverick;Aug2011, Issue 109, p17
The article discusses the highlights of the very first Bath Americana Festival which was held on May 18-22, 2011 in Bath, England. The idea for the event came from Bath & North East Somerset Councillor and Mayor Bryan Chalker, who wanted to introduce authentic country music to the local population. Aside from the concerts, the festival also introduced school children to Appalachian dancing by the Applejacks, and singing and fiddle playing by Kate Lissauer.
