ABSTRACT
A conversation with country music singer-songwriter Laura Cantrell is presented. She mentions that she performed a Kitty Wells show for the Country Music Hall of Fame in May 2009. She describes musician Chris Scruggs as talented and knowledgeable about steel guitar and its interaction with the fiddle. According to Cantrell, she knew who Kitty Wells was due to the fact that she lived in Wells's neighbourhood as a child.
