ABSTRACT
The article presents the views of Promoter Leos Novotny about the preparation of Leo Express to launch open access services between Praha and Ostrava in the Czech Republic in December 2012. Leo Express has ordered five Flirt low-floor Electrical Multiple Units (EMU) which are under construction at Stadler's factories in Bussnang and Hungary. Novotny also comments about his rivals' trains, his strategy, and the aim of Leo Express to offer a higher quality of inner-city travel.
