ABSTRACT
The article offers a look at several rail vehicles manufactured by Alstom as of June 2011. A framework contract was reached by Alstom with SNCF in 2009 to supply approximately 1,000 Regiolis trainsets. Deutsche Bahn (DB) ordered several variants of vehicles for use on routes radiating from Nürnberg. The article also offers information on the features of the Bimode-Bitension diesel-electric vehicle.
