ABSTRACT
The article discusses the surveys from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) which impact the performance of education in Canada. It notes the evaluation conducted by the OECD PISA on 15-year old students in 65 countries, which reveals that Canada ranks among the top ten performers in reading, mathematics, and science. It also highlights the increase of foreign students in the country in 2010.
