ABSTRACT
The article discusses the possible violations committed by member schools of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the U.S. in their recruitment of good high school athletes into their athletic programs. It cites as example the University of Connecticut, which allegedly committed violations in its efforts to convince top-rated high school athlete Nate Miles to join its basketball program. It focuses on the package deals made in NCAA men's basketball.
