ABSTRACT
In this article the author discusses the significance of a productive relationship between dealers and service departments in the motorsports industry. He cites the phrase "Take care of me and I'll take care of you," and notes that dealers can acquire the commitment of their technicians if they are sensitive to their needs. Moreover, the author suggests that aside from making the department productive, this code of conduct can lessen the managers' personal stress.
