The article reports on the views of several agricultural industry experts concerning the challenges facing farm production in the U.S. It states that deans of various universities cited several challenges at a Southern Peanut Growers Association meeting which include budget cuts and a lack of up-to-date research-proven information. The industry experts include Jay Chapin, David Adams, and John Beasley.
