The article focuses on T.A. Cook report on the changing actions to turnarounds (TAR) in the European petrochemical industry. It states that the industry will spend about three billion euros a year on plant TAR projects. TA Cook head Mateus Siwek mentions that the TAR contractors offering services nationally is to decline from 19% to 6% while it will increase from 22% to 37 % internationally. It also adds competition between service providers in safety, infrastructure, and project management.
