The article informs on a case of a cow with vascular hamartoma of the liver, whose ultrasonic imaging presented increased number of hypoechogenic blood vessels in liver parenchyma with a thrombus in right hepatic vein. The liver enzymes and bilurubin concentration was within the normal range, however, a vascular hamartoma of the liver with thrombosis was confirmed on histological diagnosis. It is informed that this is the first case where ultrasonic imaging confirms vascular hamartoma in a cow.
