ABSTRACT
The article offers information on a study conducted by the authors on how public perceive obese people and types of intervention supported by the public in Germany. It states that literature on stigmatizing attitudes towards overweight, prevention support and causal beliefs were included. It mentions that all studies showed support for regulative prevention and preventing it in childhood got highest approval rates.
