Awareness of health risks related to body art practices among youth in Naples, Italy: a descriptive convenience sample study

The article offers information on a study conducted by the authors related to awareness of health risks associated with body art among youth in Naples, Italy. It states that data was collected from students of high school and college to highlight difference among age. Out of 9,322 adolescents, 11.3 percent were pierced and 31.3 percent were tattooed and in undergraduates 33 percent were pierced. It reports that children need to have knowledge about health risks associated with body art.
