ABSTRACT
The article presents a research which examines relationship between 3 clinical conditions including, major depressive disorders (MDD), hashimoto thyroiditis (HT) and reduction in regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF). As reported, the researchers conducted the research to explore the possibility of that patients with HT and MDD have specific patterns of cerebral perfusion. According to the research, temporal hypoperfusion and frequent parietal hypoperfusion asymmetry are characteristics of MDD.
