ABSTRACT
The article presents a research which examines whether the pattern of symptoms in manic episodes consist of a multi-dimensional structure which could be used to support distinct clinical subtypes. It is reported that, the researchers carried out exploratory factor analysis to conduct their research. According to the research, manic symptoms have multidimensional nature including, elated mania, irritable mania, and psychotic mania.
