The article reports on the industrywide condition relevant to the capital spending of major tire manufacturing companies worldwide for the 2010 financial year duration. It says that Hankook Tire Co. Inc. from South Korea led the global tire industry in capacity expansion through its 1.44 billion dollar commitment of establishing new factories in China and Indonesia. It notes that the Asia-Pacific region has gathered nearly 67% of the budgeted investments followed by Latin America and Europe.
