The article focuses on the saving of National Health Service (NHS). It states that the saving of NHS can become pounds 3.2 billion per year by increasing the productivity in the South West region of strategic health authorities (SHA) . It also informs that South West region of SHA provides around 5.3 percent of productivity. Moreover, the comparison of the inputs and outputs of the services reflects that the productivity is low in South Central, West Midlands and Yorkshire & Humber SHAs.
