NBC Expects 'Hundreds of Millions' in Retrans Fees

The article reports that National Broadcasting Co. Inc. (NBC) Television Network expects to reap hundreds of million dollars in retransmission-consent fees for the next few years. It states that the network expects the increase in their retransmission revenue, license fees, and their advertising revenue. According to chief executive officer (CEO) Steve Burke of NBCUniversal Media LLC, he anticipates to receive the rates comparable to the three large national broadcasting companies.
