ABSTRACT
The article discusses the different aspects of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification program of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Amanda Tullos, LEED accredited professional (AP) of GreeNexus Consulting, cites the need for proper understanding the basic principles and concept of the green building certification program. It further explores the different changes in the LEED program including the addition of the LEED Green Associate (GA)accreditation.
