ABSTRACT
The article discusses the benefits of the social media Facebook and Twitter to the optical business. Information that there are 50% of daily log from the 500 million Facebook users, and 1 billion tweets sent weekly, are provided. The ease involved in creating an account is described. Tips given include the need to check on the account only a few times per week, liking the account of your customer, and tracking which post are popular for marketing purposes.
