ABSTRACT
The article offers suggestions on how to increase and improve automation without stopping current production. Determining which area to automate first could include those process that are either labor intensive or prone to frequent errors. For laboratories that are partly automated, improving efficiency by reviewing their Overall Equipment Effectiveness is more important than just increasing automated processes. Tips in choosing conveyors such as using simulation tools before buying is offered.
