ABSTRACT
The article offers information related to Kaposi sarcoma and its treatment. It relates on the case of an 86-year-old man with a history of asymptotic lesions on his legs and was diagnosed of Kaposi sarcoma as he has shown a violaceous infiltrated patches with positive human herpesvirus 8. It states that Kaposi sarcoma is linked to human herpesvirus 8 which can be cured in various treatments including skin biopsy of lesions, radiotherapy, and antiviral drugs.
