ABSTRACT
The article reports that the publication of the results of the official inquiry into the rear-end collision between two Chinese high-speed trains at Wenzhou on July 23, 2011 are expected to be due in September 2011. State Administration of Work Safety's Huang Yi claims the technical report has been completed, together with findings of an expert investigating the direct causes. Meanwhile, the government has been criticized for the haste of clearing the wreckage without checking for survivors.
