This article reports on the acquisition of a stake in Grupo T-Solar by affiliates of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. LP and Munich Re in 2011. The companies want to acquire assets of Grupo T-Solar, including 42 solar photovoltaic plants. Munich Re plans to use its Renewable Energies and New Technologies (RENT) fund to finance the deal.
