The article reports on the move of multiple system operator (MSO) Suddenlink Communications in the U.S. to expand its door-to-door sales program by developing the Open Door mobile sales platform. It states that the platform allows sales agents in the field to automatically view the next location to visit using BlackBerry devices and encode results and orders. Jerry Dow, chief marketing officer of Suddenlink, asserts that the technology offers solutions to some of sales-related problems.
