ABSTRACT
The article reports on the two proposed standards of ASTM International for the paint and coatings industry. These are the Corrosion Testing of Coil-Coated Building Products and Temperature/Viscosity Relationship Standards which are developed by subcommittees of its Committee D01 on Paint and Related Coatings, Materials, and Applications. It mentions that the first standard aids in product development while the latter provides instruction on the preparation of viscosity-temperature table.
