ABSTRACT
The article reports that the antibody diagnostic tests for tuberculosis (TB) were banned for use by the World Health Organization (WHO) after the systematic review showed their potential danger to patients' health. It states that these commercial serological tests have low sensitivity which leads to false-negative results. It says that the policy issued by WHO urges the reliance on more accurate molecular and microbiological tests.
