Obtaining cokes with low content of sulfur from straightgoudron and their application for manufacture of artificial graphites

ABSTRACT
Superdispersed coke additives influence to raw stock of coking on properties of forming cokes has been studied. An introduction of coke additives in straight goudron has been shown to allows to increase in the content of isotropic components in coke structure in 2.8-3.7 times and to decrease in the sulfur content on 27 % rel. A possibility of use of coke obtained on the base of modified row stock for technology of carbon composite materials manufacture has been considered.
