The article discusses the significant role played by social media in financial planning particularly with social platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. According to Blane Warrene, chief executive officer (CEO) of the social media archiving company, Arkovi, Twitter's platform of sharing and retweeting emerges as the highest number of archived records although Facebook is the commonly used among advisers. Warrene also believes that advisers will soon embrace the multi-media bandwagon.
