Describes radiotherapy as safe and efficient modality for the palliation of a patient with malignant pleural mesothelioma producing a high-volume pleural effusion. Case history of a 55-year-old man with right shoulder pain associated with progressive shortness of breath; Symptoms of pleural effusion secondary to malignant mesothelioma; Treatment.
