ABSTRACT
The article announces the winners of the 2012 Award of Excellence (AOE) awarded by the American Rose Society (ARS). The "Ann Hooper" is an ivory white with a pink picotee miniature, hybridized by Tom Carruth. The "Butter Me Up," hybridized by Christian Bedard contains over 25 petals and are borne on medium-tall plants with bright green foliage. "Oso Happy Petit Pink," hybridized by David Zlesak, is a medium pink miniature with more than 50 petals and with very high black spot tolerance.
