ABSTRACT
The article focuses on natural gas production in Great Britain in 2010, according to the Digest of UK Energy Statistics. Overall production has reportedly decreased since 2000 and was down four percent in 2009. It noted that gas production has been declining by an average of six percent a year since 2000. The increase in imports of natural gas in 2010 was attributed to lower production and higher demand.
