ABSTRACT
The article discusses the importance for company leaders to become effective change leaders. It is said that leaders who hesitate prevent organizational change while leaders with conviction, authenticity and managerial courage deliver superior results. It notes that credibility, reputation and political capital of a company are affected once leaders exhibit hesitation and disengagement. Measures that leaders should take amid change are given, one is to provide recognition and direct feedback.
