ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's advice to authors and book-buyers on the pitfalls of book-signing in England. He cites the Queue Envy problem, wherein he suggests that an author must avoid being a victim because this would make people uneasy. He addresses the concerns that authors may have about book signing including the swapping of authors in mid-queue, asking someone to take a photograph of him or her and the signing author, and misspelling of one's name.
