ABSTRACT
The article reports on a study conducted by the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES) which shows the increase of executive salary at credit unions (CUs). It states that chief executive officers' (CEO) base compensation rose by 4.37% in 2011 with 6.44% average increase in assets. Charlie Carlson of Carlson-Dettmann Consulting says that the 2011 data indicate a rebound in compensation. He also associates executive compensation with organizational health.
