ABSTRACT
The article presents career-college outlook of the new-student enrollment at DeVry University in 2011. It says that the new-students declined 25.6% to 15,566 in the second quarter of 2011 and double-digit for enrollment growth in the third consecutive quarter. Gary McCullough of Career Education Corp. cites reasons of the decline as impact of new federal regulations, negative sector publicity, and lower student demand. Moreover, the revenue and enrollment forecasts will remain weak until 2012.
