ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the Connecticut legislative changes to nexus provisions for corporate business tax and sales and use tax purposes, and the Ohio amnesty programs. Connecticut Governor Daniel Malloy signed changes to the state's nexus law, requiring a company to meet both the existing criteria to have economic nexus. Also, Ohio Governor John Kasich signed into law the 2012-2013 budget bill which includes a general tax amnesty program.
