ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the report of Lebanese daily newspaper "As Safir" on the statement of Abdullah Abdullah, Palestinian Ambassador to Lebanon, regarding the threats posed by the U.S. and efforts of Israel to stop the bid of Palestine for statehood at the Unted Nations (UN) General Assembly. Abdullah says that leaders of Palestine have Plan B in case Security Council member states release a veto against the bid. He adds that Palestinian Authority are being pressured to draw back the demand.
