ABSTRACT
The author discusses the impact of bonus appreciation on businesses in the U.S. He states that wise usage of bonus depreciation can provide benefits that can last several years in the future. Moreover, he mentions that it allows a taxpayer to claim additional depreciation during the first year, then depreciate the remaining cost basis of the asset.
