Anatomy of Load Delta-T

August 2011
Heating/Piping/Air Conditioning Engineering;Aug2011, Vol. 83 Issue 8, p34
The article discusses aspects of load delta-T, which is a vital component in large distributed chilled water system. The author talks about the pervasiveness of low-load delta-T in central chiller plants and it can introduce a means of forcing load delta-T to 10 degree Fahrenheit (F). It also presents several graphs depicting the effects of the characteristic of loads to pump and plant performance.
