ABSTRACT
The article reports on a study conducted by H.E. Bloomfield and colleagues, focusing on how patient self-testing (PST) or patient self-management (PSM) of oral anticoagulation reduces thromboembolic events and mortality. The study showed that PST and PSM reduces thromboembolic events and all-cause mortality more than usual care and does not increase major bleeding.
