ABSTRACT
The article reports on a study examining whether celecoxib reduces risk for gastrointestinal (GI) adverse events more than slow-release diclofenac plus omeprazole in patients with osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. It was found in the study that celecoxib prevented and reduced gastrointestinal complications more than diclofenac plus omeprazole in high-risk patients with rheumatoid or osteoarthritis.
