ABSTRACT
The article reports on a study by Al-Majed N. S. and colleagues which focuses on the benefits of cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) in patients with advanced heart failure (HF) and in those with less symptomatic HF. The study shows that the use of CRT, for treatment of HF has increased over the past decade based on evidence of improved functional status and survival and reduced readmissions.
