ABSTRACT
The third-order static field-cooled nonlinear dielectric permittivity in relaxor ferroelectric PbMg[sub 1/3]Nb[sub 2/3]O[sub 3] has been measured as a function of temperature. It is shown that the observed behavior can be explained by a mechanism of nonlinear response within the framework of the spherical random bond-random field model. © 2002 American Institute of Physics.
