ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the recording of the album "Behind Closed Doors," by Charlie Rich. It states that producer Billy Sherrill and engineer Lou Bradley have recorded live with musicians from Nashville, Tennessee and marked an era when Sherrill recorded all vocalists beside the Steinway piano in his studio. Furthermore, information on several audio equipment used in the recording which include an Ampex MM1000 recording machine, a KM86 microphone, and a U49 voice recorder is presented.
