The article reports on the FM Global's 2008 Natural Disaster Business Risk Study which reveals that many businesses fail to heed the risk of natural disasters. It notes that the study have surveyed financial executives stating that their operations are exposed to natural catastrophes like typhoons, floods and earthquakes. Results of the study show that they are not well-prepared for a typhoon as well as lack of preparedness for the risk of floods and earthquakes.
