ABSTRACT
The article reports on the comparison of commonly used cross-linkers dimethyl pimelimidate (DMP) and bis sulfosuccinimidyl suberate (BS3) in the coupling of antibodies to magnetic protein A Dynabeads. The comparison revealed that BS3 is a lower non-specific binding of proteins compared to DMP. However BS3 the lower binding of proteins ability of BS3 also reflects on its propensity to react with tyrosines, serines and threonines present in the epitope binding regions of immunoglobulins.
