ABSTRACT
The article offers information on a research conducted to study the use of various smoking cessation methods used by quitters to quit smoking and analyzes the rate of cigarette smoking and effectiveness of the methods. It is mentioned that telephonic surveys conducted on quitters who answered to 13 cessation related methods. Also, bivariate and multivariate analysis were used to determine socio-demographic factors. It is informed that most quitters decreased their usage before quitting.
