ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the study conducted to examine the association of depressive symptoms with waist circumference or abdominal obesity among obese adults in the U.S. It mentions that obese U.S. adults, waist circumference or abdominal obesity is associated with increased symptoms of mental depression. Further it suggests that monitoring and evaluation of mental health status is important in adults with abdominal obesity.
