ABSTRACT
The article examines the influence of patient and administrative factors in bowel preparation in different health care systems. A cross-sectional study of patients undergoing colonoscopy in an Asian tertiary center was conducted. It is found that education levels and appointment waiting times increase the risk of poor bowel preparation in adult patients going for colonoscopy.
